July 4, 2012 ! Independence Day commemorating the 236th HAPPY Anniversary of the Adoption of the Declaration of Independence
Pamela Geller (Activist, Author, Commentator) and Co-Founder of the Freedom Defense Initiative with Robert Spencer was introduced by Gary R’nel and thanked afterwards by Teri Adams President of the Independence Hall Tea Party.
The #ows nut-jobs had a what was supposed to be a HUGE National Assembly on July 4th. Loons from across the country were supposed to gather here in opposition to the American Dream that was realized and celebrated by generations of immigrants to these shores. NOT by these malcontents.
Revisionist ‘historians’ on-call: Liberal Democrats”??? in 1776??

It was a pathetic and predictable turn-out limply camped out in protest at one end of the Independence Hal (opposite Constitutional Hall). This was around 11:45 AM
The anti-American #OWS Insurgents also threatened to deny Pamela Geller her Constitutional Rights to Free Speech. Not today, “Gunga Din”. Inside Independence Hall Convention Center, they were met with polite and determined resistance: “No reservation? No admittance.”
And INSIDE, the Independence Hall Tea Party and fellow patriots met and celebrated America’s 236th Birthday!
As did the Termini Brothers of Philadelphia, in thanks for the gift of American Freedom.
Giuseppe Termini arrived in 1921 and has made a tradition of this beautiful gift that greeted us as we arrived around Noon on the Fourth.
America! What a Country!

Let’s also keep in mind that one of America Founding Fathers,Thomas Jefferson, had written a number of things whch very apply to today. He wrote “A conviction that we are right accomplishes half the difficulty of correcting wrong.” and “Fortitude …teaches us to meet and surmount difficulties; not to fly from them.” Also, “Our part then is to pursue with steadness what is right…assured that in the end public approbation will in the end be with us.” Last but not the least inspite of the jihadists threats we should not live in fear of be afraid to go places or do thing because of those deluded people who are into militant jihadisn. Nevertheless, we should also be aware of our surrounding and be on the lookout for anything that seems not to look right,as in “What’s wrong with this picture?”, then tell someone such a a policeman like that T-shirt vender did in Times Square, NY. As Thomas Jefferson also wrote “Let the eye of vigilance never be closed.”
