no matter what she says about herself, she is ignorant and obviously discriminatory. What has she read about the Qur’an? Has she actually read the Qur’an, or is her info coming from online websites and the mouths of others? How dare she encourage others to leave a religion she knows nothing about and has a biased opinion about? She’s telling others about tolerance and sensitivity but she is a hypocrite. Islam is NOT a religion of violence. Don’t read what you find online, because most of it is either changed or incorrectly interpretted. Check on a few different sites, real Muslim sites and non-real Muslim sites, and you will see differences in the very same verses. It is a matter of interpretation, and the fact that this woman Pam wants to “expunge” verses from the Qur’an is very much against Islam, because The Qur’an has never been changed from it’s ORIGINAL text, it has only been interpretted to accommodate for the 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide, from several countries.
Prove to me where it says that Jews are monkeys and pigs. Give me the Surah and Ayah. Or are you the same as the others, who base their opinions on word of mouth or anti-Islamist websites?

This verse makes it clear that the apes and swine are Jews and Christians, the “People of the Book”:
“Say: ‘O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?’Say: ‘Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah? those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil — these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!’“ (Qur’an 5:59-60)

I wonder how Pamela Geller would feel if people posted tons of false information about her? For people who look up to her so much, she’s not exactly a great role model, because she is anti-Muslim and anti-Islamist. She’s completely against the religion and the people, so your opinions may be biased if you follow her corrupted point of view. The more I watched that interview, the more i wanted to scream at her.

women are inferior to men, their testimony is half that of a man, their inheritance is half of their brother, you have no say over your life, ie. when you’re still with your parents, it’s your father who has authority over you, when you’re married it’s your brother, or in the absence of both husband or father, then it’s your closest male relative. So a no good, obnoxious, school drop out male has authority over his sister, even though the sister is a scientist, doctor, etc.
I hope you converted to Islam with both your eyes open.

whoever wrote that is an ignorant fool!! what do the millions of Muslims worldwide, and even in the U.S.A/NYC have to do with the Muslims who were apparently responsible for 9/11? So now all Muslims have to take the blame? what kind of a mind set is that?
You know, I bet if it were a Christian terrorist group, or Bhuddist terrorist group, a religious group from anywhere around the world, there would not be nearly as great a commotion. But, unfortunately, Muslims now are a target of discrimination, simply because of the mistakes of others. You think Muslims families around the world aren’t sad about what happened at 9/11? you think they were not impacted and still are impacted by it? I understand the irony of building a Mosque near ground zero, but that doesn’t mean you people have to be ignorant so much as to go through all this to avoid having a Mosque built there. It is a place a WORSHIP. Build whatever place of worship you want there. I’m sure whoever wanted to build a Mosque there simply saw it as an open space. People PRAY in Mosques, not plot

Islam is not responsible for 9/11. Why don’t you look who the real terrorist are. They are the ones who are ignorant and terrorize the name of our religion. and to add to myself, I CHANGED my religion to Islam. You think i’m gonna become part of a religion that promotes violence? I’m 21, i’ve been Muslim for 3 years, and believe me, that is a decent amount of time to realize the truth of Islam. I’m part of a generation that is mixed with tolerance and intolerance.

Amber, sadly people in my islamic country were celebrating 9/11 like it was a great victory! A place of worship as you call it should teach love and peace. Do you know of one koranic verse that teaches to love ALL people, regardless of their religion? Do muslims trust Allah to punish those who choose not to believe him or even leave him? No, they take matters into your own hands. And yes, people DO PLOT in worship places, as long as they think it has to do with their faith. And by the way, unlike islam, neither christianity nor bhuddism tolerate or teach killing others to defend their faith. Who’s ignorant now?

Instead of the focus being on the organizations and their reasons for opposing the mosque construction, it has been on Mark Williams, Chairman of the Tea Party Express. Williams has ‘taken the stage’ on this issue with his fired-up words: “Muslims worship a monkey God” which he realized he had to follow with an apology (to Hindus). HE became the issue, overshadowing the real issue: ‘Stopping Sharia Law from coming to America.’ Williams’ blog statements set a radical stage for this debate. His hateful comments forced NY politicians to denounce Williams’ in the strongest of terms as a bigot, which has also cast a huge doubt on the credibility of the people who do oppose this mosque construction.
The truth is that most of the people who are speaking out against this project are really frightened by what they have seen happening in European communities that are densely populated with Muslims (Banlieus) . These people, many of whom are the families of the 9/11 victims, are not being heard. They have become the victims of this proposed mosque. People like Debra Burlingame, whose brother was the pilot that was forced to fly into the Pentagon, have been propelled into this battle and are devoting much of their time to learning about the enemy America has been forced to confront. They have been tireless in their efforts to stand up to the administration and political correctness in order to safeguard American national security. These patriotic citizens believe that this mosque, if constructed, will become the foothold for Muslim power to take over in lower Manhattan and spread from there.
When opponents to this project heard Iman Feisal Abdul Rauf speak up at the May 25, 2010 downtown Community Board they contrasted his words with what he had said shortly after 9/11. Not only are the Iman and his Islamic supporters insensitive to these families’ losses, but they also appear to be disingenuous about their goals, if not actually deceitful. One has to wonder how this Iman can be trusted at his words of heartfelt peace when he had originally blamed the West for having started jihad warfare and being Infidels? The real message Americans need to focus on were the words spoken by Daisy Khan, Executive Director of the Cordoba Initiative and wife of Iman Feisal. She said the Cordoba Mosque and Community Center would be a positive addition to downtown NYC. “We have a vision that is opposite the vision of the extremists,”Khan told DNAinfo. “We want to be a driving force for the rebuilding of Lower Manhattan.” That is the real goal of the Cordoba Initiative. New Yorkers, you have been warned by the simple truth in this statement and must recognize the real plan…Islamic leaders want to be instrumental in the planning and rebirth of this area of NYC. Their real intent is to create a ‘Banlieus’ where their force can be felt and ‘Sharia Law’ can prevail. Wise up New York politicians, wise up downtown residents and wise up Americans. You are being “suckered” as Curtis Sliwa would say. So, again I ask that you save the date, Sunday, June 6, at 12:00, at Ground Zero and come to show your support against this proposed mosque. Join the battle to stop ‘Sharia Law’ in America and voice your outrage for the world to hear. Please remember that all Americans who do not believe in the Koran are said to be Infidels and are worthy of being murdered.
